Understandably, sites will not want to link to competitors so instead, reach out to online communities that offer free, unbiased guidance or review products in your industry. For example, if you’re selling vegan and gluten-free baked goods online, send a note to healthy living online publications with a strong following to check you out. They may write up an excellent review and set up the right kind of effective link-backs.
