How Do You Define Success?

When you hire a new salesperson you want to ensure that he or she is successful and quickly adding new accounts and new sales to your company. You design training on your key products and services, establish clear sales goals and set up regular checkpoints to make sure he/she is focused and productive.

These same principals apply in “training” our super salesperson website.

Design Training on Key Products and Services

Does your website clearly state your products and services? Key benefits to your target prospects? Are your products logically organized? Can you easily find key information and answers to potential questions?

Establish Clear Sales Goals

What are the key business goals you would like your website to accomplish?:

  • Establish credibility, brand, positioning
  • Provide detailed information on your products/services
  • Interaction with visitors
  • Capture sales leads with contact information
  • Drive online sales
  • Transact – specify, order, set up appointment for install
  • Support – deliver support/service; maintenance
  • Loyalty – capture repeat business, referrals, case histories, and testimonials

Monitor Performance

Use website analytics to see where and how often visitors leave (bounce) or stick around (time on page). You can also track success by specifying conversions.
