If you’ve ever wished you had cutting-edge know-how when it comes to integrating technology into your business, SCORE’s new website, e-Business Now, is for you. e-Business Now provides small- business owners with the “how-to” knowledge they need to successfully launch today’s technology-enabled applications and offers a wide range of free tools and resources that help small-business leaders harness the power of technology.
At Microsoft, we have a longstanding commitment to helping small businesses succeed and are excited to partner with SCORE on e-Business Now, as well as lend our support to its accompanying educational and networking events, including the upcoming small-business event, “How to Use Technology for Your Business,” in Anaheim on April 12. This is a free event and will be much like an in-person version of e-Business Now, with roundtable discussions and workshops all centered on technology trends and best practices.
For example, one of the event’s roundtable discussions will focus on cloud computing, a trend that’s leveling the playing field for small and midsized businesses by providing them with enterprise-level technology at a price smaller organizations can afford. (You can check out a recent blog post I wrote for more information on how the cloud is spurring a technology revolution among SMBs.) KnowledgeCentrix, a Microsoft partner, will be offering its expertise in a discussion on “Flying Through the Cloud – How to Boost Your Bottom Line.” Additionally, Microsoft partner Fresh Consulting will help to clarify social media confusion for attendees by providing insights during the “How to Put the Parts Together for Your Business” roundtable discussion. Other event topics include social media, security and remote working.
