SCORE Makes Its Mark as a Catalyst of Economic Growth

A new Gallup survey shows that SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” is making an incredible impact for economic growth in America. The Gallup survey revealed that in 2009, SCORE clients started more than 68,000 new businesses, which created over 30,000 jobs for Americans.

In 2009 alone, SCORE experts mentored nearly 180,000 aspiring and current small business owners. SCORE’s clients grossed $38 billion in 2009 revenue, with an average of $314,000 per business. These companies project their 2010 cumulative revenue to be $53 billion.
