Fully 75 percent of people are extroverts, according to the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. It means most of us are more likely to talk than listen.

  4. Hearing is a physical ability while listening is a skill. Listening skills allows one to really hear what a person is talking about. An entrepreneur can use his listening skills to optimise his business abilities.

    I totally agree with your point about being extroverts and wanting to talk more than listen. But I myself say if you are a parent in addition to your career you also have the balance of listening to your children and talking to them. I think that this relationship will help enhance your listening techniques in your career. I recently just learned about the Myers Briggs Type Indicator test and I think it is a wonderful tool. I found this post very insightful. Thanks
